Youth Services After School Playground

Through Youth Services, the afterschool playground offers supervised recreational activities for our students in Grades 2-5 only on all school days.  The playground is open daily from dismissal until 5:30 pm.  The students are required to follow the school rules and regulations.  Students who do not follow the school rules will not be allowed to stay on the after school playground.  Participation is a privilege.  Please note that once students leave the campus, they may NOT return the same day. 

On Minimum Days and Early Out Tuesdays, the afterschool program will also be open until 5:30 pm.

To ensure the continued protection and safety of all children, any child remaining one hour after the playground closes will be referred to a child protective agency.

Mayall is fortunate to have the LA’s BEST Program.  This is a sign-in / sign-out program.  The students enrolled in this program are expected to stay until 5:45pm daily in grades K-5.  Space is limited and you must enroll your child with the site director Coach Edward.  He is available each day after 2:00 pm by phone at (818) 923-4945, in Room 36, or email [email protected]
