Mustang Updates 9/25/26

A message from MAYALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Dear Mustang Families,

I hope this email finds everyone well!

Attendance Reminders

When your student is absent, please notify the teacher or the main office and send an absence note to the school when your student returns. All absences must be cleared within 10 days of the absence.

The absence note should include:

·       Student’s full name

·       Room number

·       Date of absence

·       Reason for the absence

·       Parent/guardian signature

School Uniform Reminder

We hope all families have had an opportunity to purchase the school uniform by now. Beginning in October, all Mustangs are expected to wear their school uniforms Monday through Thursday, with the exception of Fridays.

On Free Dress Fridays, students are still expected to follow the school’s dress code. Thank you for helping us maintain our school standards and a positive learning environment.

First Math Challenge – K–5

Our first Math Challenge is scheduled for the week of October 12 for students in grades K–5.

At this time, we are not expecting all students to pass the challenge. Rather, this first assessment will help teachers and students identify the math fluency skills that need additional practice and mastery by mid-April, when the second Math Challenge will take place.

Please support your student by practicing math facts at home. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
