Dear Mustang Families,
The weather has been extremely hot this week, and we have had to implement our inclement weather schedule, which limits outdoor activities. During lunch, students ate their meals and then remained in our air-conditioned auditorium. Let’s hope for cooler weather next week!
We are also noticing that many students are arriving late to school in the morning. Please bring your child to school by 7:55 a.m. so they have enough time to walk to their classroom without rushing. Attendance begins promptly at 8:00 a.m., and any student who enters the classroom after 8:00 a.m. will be marked tardy. Thank you for helping your child start the school day on time and ready to learn!
Many families have generously been sending classroom supplies through Amazon. We truly appreciate your thoughtful donations! Please ensure that deliveries are not scheduled for after 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, as we do not have staff available to receive packages at that time. We have found several packages left outside the school gate, and we want to make sure your generous donations are delivered safely.
Please note that the school will be closed from Friday, September 4, through Monday, September 7, for a four-day weekend in observance of Admission Day and Labor Day. We understand that some families may have planned trips during this time; however, please do not extend your trip beyond the school closure. We look forward to welcoming all students back to school on Tuesday, September 8. Thank you for your continued support!
