Magnet Schools of America (MSA) is hosting its 19th Annual National Magnet Schools Student Poster Contest, inviting students from elementary, middle, and high school magnet programs to participate. Students had the opportunity to creatively interpret one or all of MSA's five core pillars:
- Diversity
- Innovative Curriculum and Professional Development
- Academic Excellence
- Leadership
- Family and Community Partnerships
Entries were reviewed by a District panel, with the winning submissions selected to represent LAUSD in the national competition. Mustang Zhu, a 3rd-grade student at Mayall Academy of Arts and Technology Magnet, submitted his artwork in November. His piece has been chosen to represent LAUSD at the elementary school level in the 2025 MSA National Student Poster Contest. We wish Mustang the best of luck as he advances to the next stage of the competition!
