Dear Mustang Families,
We are excited to announce that our student council candidates will deliver their speeches on Monday, 10/7 followed by the election. Students will participate in the election and vote for the Student Council President, Vice-President, and Public Relations Officer.
Mrs. Amaya, the Psychiatric Social Worker(PSW), will host a parent workshop on Bullying Awareness on Tuesday, 10/8 at 8:15am. The meeting is in-person in the parent center and online. Zoom ID: 730 133 4837. Please see the attached flyer for details.
National Walk to School Day is on Wednesday, 10/9. This annual event involves communities from across the country as part of a movement for year-round safe routes to school. We invite you and your students to participate by meeting at the corner of San Jose St. and Petit Ave. by 7:30am. From there, we will walk to school together.
Our amazing magnet coordinator, Mrs. Grace Kim, will host a parent meeting on Choices programs and the application process on Thursday, 10/10 at 10:00am in person and on Zoom: 474 755 0417. We especially like to invite our UTK and 5th grade parents to the meeting since they must apply for it for next year. Please see the attached flyer for details.
We will be conducting a fire drill on 10/10 at 1:10pm.
Friday, 10/11 is Be a Buddy Day. Wear matching clothes with your buddies.
