On behalf of Mayall Teachers and staff, I would like to thank our PTA board members, parents, and volunteers for the generous gifts and delicious lunch. Your kind gestures are deeply appreciated.
To show our appreciation to volunteers, we are having a Volunteer Breakfast on Wednesday, 5/15 at 8:30am in the auditorium. This is for invitation only.
Wednesday is Mustang Spirit Day. Wear your favorite Disney shirts or decorations.
Under the guidance of Mr. De Guzman, some of our 4th and 5th graders have been working hard for months to create a couple of movies for the Making Movies that Matter event. Their films will be shown at Soraya Theater at CSUN this Thursday. Our student films have been winning first place every year. Let’s hope that we win again. Even if we don’t, we want to thank their hard work and endeavors.
Mayall PTA is hosting Wacky Science Night on Friday, 5/31from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Please purchase your tickets by May 24th. It is $5 per child and the tickets will not be sold at the door.
Schools in our community will be hosting full-day on-campus programs, and many enrichment activities will be available online. Your child may have the opportunity to learn a new language, take an art class or learn to play an instrument. For information about summer programs, please visit the website at lausd.org/summeroflearning.
Academic summer programs will be offered for students who are currently in Universal Transitional Kindergarten (UTK) through 12th Grade. To register, parents can go online at lausd.org/summeroflearning or pick up an application in the main office.
